My child/children are not in the current session but have attended Kid Motion classes in the past. Are we considered current participants for purposes of Fall registration?
Your children are definitely part of the Kid Motion family. However, no priority is given for Fall registration.
How does the wait list work?
There is a separate wait list for each class. The wait lists begin at registration when a particular class is full. Names are added to each list as the year progresses. When an opening occurs anytime during the year, the person at the top of the wait list for that particular class is contacted.
Can I register in January for the Winter/Spring session?
Children who are enrolled in the Fall session have the option of staying in their class for the Winter/Spring session which runs from the end of January through May. Openings that occur during the transition will be filled from current waitlists. Names are added to the waitlists when they are received as the year progresses. When an opening occurs anytime during the year, the person at the top of the wait list for that particular class is contacted.
If my child is in the Fall session, how do I register for the Winter/Spring session?
Children in the Fall session are guaranteed their spot. You will be invoiced via email for the Winter/Spring session in November.
Do you have mom/tot classes?
Not at this time.
My child has allergies; can this be accommodated at Kid Motion?
Our staff is very familiar with most allergy conditions and issues. If your child has an allergy/medical condition, please write a letter detailing your needs and expectations with regard to your situation well in advance of the beginning of a session (mail to PO Box 293, Winnetka, 60093). Staff will contact you for discussion and confirm whether we are able to meet your needs.
Do you allow a “make-up” if a child is sick or we are on vacation?
Children become comfortable with their particular teachers and surroundings and so we do not accommodate make-up requests.
